Ever notice that TurboTax has this kind of “performative sluggishness” to convince you it’s doing more than it is? It utilizes unnecessary loading bars and spinning wheel pages throughout each section, making you feel like processing a W2 is this big intense job slimy stuff

TurboTax (Intuit) and H&R Block have lobbied for years to stop this from happening. These companies are parasites and I can’t wait for the IRS to put them out of business.
