Post Game- Outstanding from the London Lions, the biggest positive was other players stepping up with Scott & McGusty playing less mins It was a day for the Brits with Adamu’s quality, Goodwin a future star and Ethan Price’s Q3 steal, dunk and block being a real highlight

HT- Fantastic 1st half for the London Lions, we are now starting to see the team click and Sabonis getting his ethos and master plan over. Adamu is on fire this afternoon 🔥 More of the same in the second, we just need to isolate the Glads Giant in Kevin Allen.

Common sense has been added to the prohibited list at the BBF … it’s seen as performance enhancing and the powers that be could never allow it.

Can't comment on the game as I was doing a commentary of another game tonight - but here's a stat for @LondonLions fans. In their 3rd season in EuroCup, the Lions have consistently been a team who like to win on the road. Since 2022, they are 15-7 away in EuroCup. Impressive.

Post Game - My God what a finish that was, London Lions are now 2-2 in @EuroCup after beating the inform Niners. The team showed grit and fight tonight and all of a sudden our campaign in Europe looks back on.

A pretty even game with Lions once again giving too many fouls away sending Niners to the line. Still plenty to play for in the secomd half

Great views on The Lions using the NCC and Newcastles use of fan groups to increase attendance. Personally I feel we need to shift focus from the influencer night out style we currently have, to building a sustainable and committed fan base week in & out.

@flexsite It’s great to have NCC as a back up option and fixing the bleacher should be a quick fix but NCC shouldn’t be in any sort of long term plan. We should be focusing on a sustainable fan base with its own culture and passion because right now the Box can be soulless at times

@LDNLions All they need to do is fix the bleachers so they can have proper seating + have some kind of refreshments on sale but baby steps

@WorkingClass___ @LondonLions Also why would it make a mockery of the SLB? Bristol play permanently in a college gym at the moment while they plan and build their own arena. The league is still in a growth period, if you want to learn more about the game there’s plenty of good information online

@WorkingClass___ @LondonLions I think British Basketball does a good job of that itself 🤣 A lot of domestic Euro basketball is played in gyms, you will also find that many Euro Cup teams play in rented arenas potentially facing the same issues Even neighbours West Ham have stadium unavailability coming up
