@max84_mad @ThomBrady5 Yes. This is nothing new. This is how real estate works. So the next generation builds up their community *outside of that town. I could not afford to live in my hometown. It became a very snooty place to live $$$$$. So I moved to the next town out. 20% cheaper!

My starter home was $1200/mo 25 years ago. Adjusted for inflation that payment today would be $3150/mo. So yes, that could be considered a starter home for some, actually. Stop putting your inflation ignorance on full display.
