🎣LDWF Inland Fisheries biologists are STILL stocking Louisiana waters with Florida Largemouth Bass! Between May 5-8, thousands were stocked across the state, including Toledo Bend, Black/Clear Lake, Lake Claiborne & more. ⚠️Stocking in public waters is illegal without a permit.

On May 6, Sgt. Brett Nabors attended the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Fallen Officer’s Memorial in Slidell, where LDWF Cadet Immanuel Washington was honored. Cadet Washington passed away on July 19, 2018, during training at the LDWF Cadet Training Academy.🌹#NeverForget

☀️Students in Grant Parish learned about nature first-hand at Stuart Lake Recreation Area during LDWF’s annual Aquatic Clinic.🐟They learned fish ID, knot tying, casting, boating safety, plant ID, and bear awareness—all through hands-on activities led by LDWF staff. 🎣🦺🌱
