A Swedish-Ghanaian tourist shared an emotional reunion with her uncle in Tokyo after more than 30 years apart. Guided only by her mother's description and his location, she found him and the pair reconnected in a touching moment. Despite life's challenges, the uncle warmly welcomed his niece and blessed her. ❤️🇬🇭🇯🇵

Governor Adeleke didn’t stumble into leadership. His record of service, compassion, and commitment to the people predates his governorship. From his years in public office, including his time in the Senate, his contributions have been traceable, verifiable, and people-centered. Today, that depth of experience is driving visible progress across Osun.
Unlike AMBO, whose public service records often raise more questions than answers, Adeleke’s trajectory is marked by consistent results and accountability. Time and again, he has shown reliability in public responsibility across different levels of service. The progress is visible, the direction is clear, and the mandate remains to protect and sustain it.

In the past one hour, there has been unconfirmed reports of bandits spotted in Ikirun and Oyan in Ọ̀ṣun State. This development has created panic in the minds of people in Òṣogbo and its environs. Parents have been rushing to pick up the children in their respective schools.
In the attached video, parents were seen waiting for their children at the gate of Fakunle Comprehensive High School, Stadium Area, Òṣogbo.
We call on @officialABAT @NigeriaGov @Osun_State_Gov, @AAdeleke_01, @PoliceNG, and other relevant stakeholders to intervene swiftly before it escalates to something uncontrollable.

The most important job of any govt is the protection of lives and property.
Tinubu has failed at his most important mandate.
@officialABAT should not be seeking reelection.
Tinubu should resign.
More than 6k Nigerian lives lost under your watch means you failed.
Resign.

To Muslims who are thinking about living in Japan.
There is something I want to say honestly first.
Life in Japan was not built around your faith.
Ramen may contain pork-bone broth.
Convenience store food may contain pork-derived ingredients.
In summer, there are shrine festivals.
At New Year, many people visit shrines for hatsumode.
When someone dies, cremation is the norm.
At drinking gatherings, there is also a culture of pouring drinks for others.
This is not harassment.
It is simply the everyday life that Japanese people have built over a long period of time.
Of course, your faith should be respected.
But in the same way,
Japanese culture and customs should also be respected.
Before coming here and saying, “I want this changed,”
please think carefully about whether this country truly fits you.
Japan does not exist to reject anyone.
But it also does not exist to be remade
for someone else’s convenience.

With the kind of frustrations I faced in the last 2-3days about water/flooding, if I have ways I would leave the Island and move to the decent part of mainland immediately. There is zero justification for paying high rent for places that your movements are restricted and your vehicles are prone to damage during raining season.
Omo, iya lan je ni island yio 😩
