The anime hasn’t ended yet, but Oshi No Ko.
Aka-sensei set up so many interesting character development plots only to abruptly end them all in a desperate attempt to make the story as tragic as possible.
Only way to redeem it is if they make anime original ending.

As much as I wanted it to happen, it most likely won’t happen. Feels like Endo saves it for much later arcs for a better payoff.
Their relationship haven’t reached that point yet (not from Loid’s side). But I sure love suprises and will take even accidental kiss if it happens.

with part 2 ending soon, aquarium arc really is such a magical arc. it almost feels like its set in another universe and genre than chainsaw man, a contained story where two individuals we're able to truly connect, separated from the world for a short time. i love this arc sm.
