I can’t believe there STILL hasn’t been a single quote from Slot on Salah. Press being briefed about everything behind the scenes, ticket prices up and already news that we won’t spend as much this summer. The club is absolutely pathetic at the minute.

The PR spin around this summer’s spending has already started, and it’s really frustrating to read. The reality is simple, missing out on Champions League football would be catastrophic. What really winds me up, though, is this narrative that we didn’t sell 250m worth of players. Arsenal, actually had a higher net spend than us, yet somehow they’ll go and spend about 200+ like they have for the past 3/4 seasons. There’s us dreaming of Olise and Diomande 🙈🙈 #LFC

Bad news Pearce getting in early saying it's unlikely to be a big summer and as expected our spending will be affected by where we finish. Maybe if they had the balls to sack Slot sooner we'd be in a more optimistic league position as I can't see us winning more than 2 games

This is an extremely disappointing decision from the club. We were clear to them that increasing prices for three seasons in a row is wrong and unfair Here’s our initial reaction to this

The club are briefing Slot isn't under pressure because A) We still have a chance at two trophies. B) One of our best ever players is leaving and there was a very public falling out between them mere months ago. And C) There's some bad news coming that will anger people.

A strange conclusion considering Liverpool are losing a significant transfer fee by letting Salah forego his contract. Seems like they mutually agreed an exit strategy and aren't really at odds with each other. But you have to make this moment toxic to further your agendas.

Would be wise not to make up imaginary fees you think we’d have got for Salah because YOU think clubs would pay it. I’m sure, with the awareness he was willing to leave, basic due diligence on his and club’s part would determine what clubs wanted to pay and where he wants to go.
