Bringing on Robertson, Nyoni, Jones, Gakpo, and an unfit Isak over Mohamed Salah in a Champions League knockout game is absolute malpractice. I get he has been below par but Slot was clearly trying to send a message there and it failed horrifically.

As good as Luis Diaz is, today is a big reminder why we got frustrated with him so often. He is the most wasteful transition player I think I have ever seen. Would be the best left winger in the world if he didn’t mess up several 2v1’s a game

That referee is so lucky that there are no replays of that challenge on Szoboszlai a minute before the goal. Looked like the most blatant foul I’ve ever seen. Think it was Andre just lazily boots him and even stops for a second as he expects a foul to be given.

Doing this gimmick 25 games in while we are sitting 6th, level on points with Brentford 😂 I’d get it if it was a couple of games but its been the majority of the season. At some point you have to ask yourself why are these players making these mistakes?

It’s just weird agendas now isn’t it. Slot doesn’t play Silva onside by 2 yards and Slot doesn’t fly and take a player out that is getting no where near the ball for a chance. But yeah, Slot!

Incredibly stupid from Alisson but its infuriating that these are still given. Penalties as a whole should really be reviewed because since VAR there has been so many soft penalties that leave a bad taste in the mouth

Objectively one of the worst penalties ever given in the VAR era. Very minimal (if any) contact and he’s already booted the ball into the stands before going down. And I genuinely cannot remember much outrage about it.

Annoyed we didn’t get him in the summer or on a free but not too bothered about missing him in Jan. Over £20 million for a centre back who’s going to be free anyway in 6 months is a transfer only City or Chelsea could do. Plus there are centre backs out there with higher upside

I genuinely don’t get how you can be this dense, he’s already on the pitch! Him moving makes absolutely no difference, the ref had already blown his whistle. Actually insane fanbase, he’s obviously just in pain, most people don’t stay completely still when they are in agony

Hughes lol. He has completely gone under the radar despite building the worst balanced Liverpool side I’ve seen since the early 2010s. Thats why I hesitate to be overly critical of Slot because I would first like to know how much input he had into the transfers we made

What a job it must be: Director of Football, make a load of bad decisions, never face the music and have no comeback when it all goes wrong. Up and down the land, there are people in the football industry (Wilcox, Berrada etc) living the most charmed of charmed lives.
