Liverpool are in talks over a loan deal for defender Lutsharel Geertruida. Any deal would have the blessing of his loan club Sunderland. Geertruida is capable of playing either right-back, centre-back or a holding midfielder.

@Sabres54 You’re just making a story up in your head and hope it comes true…. I’m pretty sure he’s happy at NUFC, that’s nothing against his ambition which I get and he’s no different to wanting to play for bigger clubs but he’s not once came out and said anything about being unhappy 🤷♂️

The more I think about the Alexander Isak ‘approach’, the more I don’t understand the logic behind it.

A period of calm is needed to allow everything to settle and get back to focusing on strengthening the squad and supporting the lads.
