@23cmcpadres Xander is easily the worst of them. While he's been solid this year, paying him until hes 40 is going to turn into a disaster. Good odds his contract turns out worse than hosmers given his injury history.

Manny Machado is 33. The Padres have him under contact until 2034 when he will be 41. Xander Bogaerts is 33. The Padres have him under contact until 2033 when he will be 40. Fernando Tatis Jr is 27. The Padres have him under contract until 2034 when he will be 35.

I don't want to be that guy, but Craig Stammen has not looked like a good manager to start off, to the surprise of absolutely no one. His bullpen management might be one of the worst for a Padres manager since Jayce Tingler.
