Juliette Bruce (she/her) is a mathematician interested in algebraic geometry, commutative algebra, and arithmetic geometry. She is currently a postdoc at Brown University, but will begin as an assistant professor at Dartmouth College next month. (1/2)

Oskar is a PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, where he works on applied and computational aspects of algebraic geometry. Among other things, this includes tropical, toric and numerical techniques for studying polynomial systems arising in systems biology and statistics.

Our penultimate honoree is Oskar Henriksson! #PrideMath

Dr. Dev Seacrest is a transmasculine professor at the University of Montana Western who advocates for all students, particularly those who struggle with traditional teaching methods. His TEDx talk “Supporting All Learners in Math and in Life” came out earlier this month.

He likes all things related to stories, from mathematical ones to a most recent obsession with Doctor Who, baking, and generally and grandma-y hobby you could think of. (2/2)

Simone is a mathematician and science communicator, in exile from the Italian Alps to Winterfell (Münster, in Northern Germany). (1/2)

Today we honour Simone Ramello! #PrideMath

We continue our Pride Campaign with Sophie Huiberts! Sophie is a researcher with CNRS in Clermont-Ferrand. Her work focuses on explaining why algorithms that work in practice might also work in theory and she often thinks about convex polyhedra. #PrideMath

Our next honoree is Keith Mills! Keith just graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with my PhD in Mathematics. He studied and published papers in geometric and algebraic topology (almost complex manifolds, spin^h manifolds and spin^h bordism). #PrideMath

Today we have Marina Logares as our honoree! Marina Logares is an Associate Professor of Maths at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She is passionate about diversity in geometry and life. #PrideMath

His research was in algebraic K-theory and higher homotopy theory, particularly in the development of additivity theorems to novel K-theoretic situations. (Note: this topic has not come up in his day-to-day work ... yet.) (2/2)

Ian is a Consultant in the Boston Consulting Group's San Diego office applying abstract mathematical thinking to business problems. (1/2)

José (he/him) is a researcher at @imate_unam in Mexico City. He is interested in various aspects of representation theory, in particular cluster algebras and geometric representation theory of Hecke-type algebras. Outside of math, he enjoys cycling and film photography.
