After closely assessing road conditions and our buildings, Garland ISD campuses and offices will open at their regularly scheduled time on Friday, January 30, 2026. Our teams have been working around the clock to prepare our schools and buses to welcome students and staff back safely. Transportation Information: Buses will operate as scheduled. Because many neighborhood roads and school areas are still unsafe, especially for school buses, all Garland ISD schools and district offices will remain closed on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
