Why do I find the horse I’ve put all the rides on hard to ride?? Schools well, pulls you into a fence? Clearly I did something right. Too many babies and not enough finished horses

@Ashley_ottb Do you differentiate between chirotherapy and osteotherapy and physiotherapy. say only vets can do chiro but you can have osteo practitioners?

Please can someone explain how animal physiotherapy works in the USA? is it specifically only vets who can perform different therapies or (massage, osteo, laser, acupressure, pemf, indiba? thanks

@acuppateagan my understanding is that generally chiropractic work falls under a vet in the US but treatments like massage or pemf or other dont have a regulatory body and anyone could call themselves an 'animal physiotherapist'

@LGEstables It depends on both the individual state and the modality. Not very helpful, I know.

@mcneillrach in the UK too but there's no regulatory body so it's pretty self governed so essentially anyone can call themselves an 'animal physiotherapist' regardless of qualifications

@LGEstables It’s dependent on each individual state’s vet medicine laws for what you’re allowed to do. I’m in Canada but here we can do a lot of the things but in order to call yourself a physiotherapist you need to go to physiotherapy school so you hear a lot of different titles
