@matthew_sparke we have crown rott showing up this year even in wheat off a double break , bad conditions and three wet years harbours the disease worse i think .

Crown rot starting to show in some paddocks with tight rotations and subsoil issues. Great way to pick a couple of paddocks for some soil pits or ripping trials also.

@agrobaz @GRDCNorth lime is a no brainer in my opinion , even in high ph ground you take vital elements like calcium off every time you harvest or make hay . return on investment lime is relatively cheep great research barry 👍

Interesting day harvesting canola trials. 2 trials looking at legacy effects. Lime and nitrogen. Lime yet to show any real economic return yet 2nd yr in, but even in a sub 100mm gsr year nitrogen increasing yields by over 30% providing a neat roi #riskwi$e @GRDCNorth
