@LauraMJThomson @RichardEGrant Except not really.. as people can travel into uk from all across the world and countries who also have mutations including the new omicrom. They are bringing it in. The quarantine is only for 6 or so countries who between them have less cases than the uk.

@RichardEGrant A ridiculous daily cost, but the high cost is also acting as a deterrent. I suspect most Governments would prefer that we don't travel, so they are slapping costs on.
