Something interesting happened while doing competitor research for a small business project. What used to take me nearly 3 hours of Googling, opening tabs, and comparing notes now takes about 10 minutes. I tested a workflow using Perplexity Computer to: - pull competitor data - summarize product positioning - highlight gaps in the market Instead of scattered notes, I ended up with a structured overview: - pricing - positioning - target customers - key differentiators For solopreneurs who don’t have research teams, this feels like a serious leverage multiplier. Still refining the process, but the time savings alone makes it worth exploring.
