Preventing “Ghost Transfers” & Protecting Your Program No Transfer Portal Entry = No Contact ⛔️ Sign a transfer student-athlete (SA), ⛔️ Add a transfer SA to roster, or ⛔️ Allow a transfer SA to participate in athletically related activities BEFORE the SA is entered into the NCAA Transfer Portal = Serious Penalties Penalties (automatically triggered) 🔘 Head coach suspension: 50% of the season 🔘 Program fine: 20% of sport’s budget Effective immediately and applies to all transfers on or after Feb. 25, 2026

💡Compliance Tip of the Week💡 One final reminder before The Big Game this weekend for all student-athletes, coaches, athletics staff members, and institutional staff members with athletics responsibilities that it is an NCAA violation to bet on NCAA sponsored sports at any level (i.e., amateur, collegiate, professional). ✅ Armchair quarterbacking/coaching ✅ Eating excessive amounts of food ✅ Voting on favorite commercial ✅ Griping about officials ✅ Enjoying the experience 🚫 Wagering on the game 🚫 Watch The Big Game this Sunday but #DontBetOnIt.
