The Exp 71 crew soared into the Moon’s shadow during the solar eclipse on Monday afternoon while working on cargo transfers, spacesuits, and science. More... go.nasa.gov/3xtBOzt

Did you catch the #eclipse today, notice crescent-shaped shadows coming through the trees, and are wondering what causes those unique shadows? The answer is nature’s very own pinhole camera! Light from the Sun during the eclipse passes through small gaps between tree leaves, projecting images of the eclipse onto the surface below.
