I-10 westbound is currently closed at Sunset Ave to Highland Springs Ave due to a freeway shooting that occurred overnight. Traffic is being diverted off at Sunset Avenue. Please use Ramsey Street as an alternate route. Updates to follow. (5/9/2026 at 0700)

Video sent to me of the mission fires near Fallbrook . Witness mentioned that they saw a person setting them . “Saw a lady carrying a gas can walking towards fire. White female dirty blonde black sweater and jeans”

Traffic Collision: rpt@2:38 p.m. at the 8500 block of Bluff Street in Banning. Firefighters are on scene of a single vehicle several hundred feet off the roadway, into a ravine. Using a stokes basket and rope rescue system, firefighters extracted the victims from the vehicle. One victim with minor to moderate injuries was transported by ground ambulance, the second victim was evaluated by paramedics on scene and refused further care. The incident has been turned over to law enforcement. #bluffIC
