Join us for Wildlife Week at the Museum! 🐍🦦🦇 Wildlife Day @ LKCNHM: 14 March 2026 (Sat), 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM Planetarium screening of Habitat Earth: 17 to 20 March 2026 (Tue to Fri), 10 AM, 11 AM, 2 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM. Show duration is 30 minutes.

The Museum will be closed from 10 AM to 1 PM on 12 March 2026, Thursday. Normal operations will resume from 1 PM onwards. Thank you for your understanding!

From 2 to 10 Feb, we were pleased to host Dr Shih Hsi-Te and Dr Hsu Jhi-Wei from National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan, who had visited the Museum for the examination of thoracotreme crabs in the Zoological Reference Collection! We hope they enjoyed their time here!

We were pleased to host Professor Adrian Krainer (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory @CSHL, United States) for an educational tour of the gallery on 5 February 2026. We hope he enjoyed his time at the Museum!

We were thrilled to host Professor Zhu Qi-Di (Jiangxi Agricultural University, China) from 19 to 31 Jan. Prof Zhu examined our Southeast Asian Rhaphidophoridae specimens to identify new species, conduct taxonomic revisions, and prepare material for molecular phylogenetic studies!
