Our Caistor coffee and chat group had its 2nd successful session this week. Our members enjoyed the wonderful hospitality at ‘The Rock Cafe’ and took part in a quiz about the month of March. Our next session is on the 1st April, to join call the office for more details.

I had a lovely evening with the Scotter WI celebrating their 61st birthday and they kindly presented me with a cheque for £221 for LLBS funds. #womensinstitute #thankyou

A massive thank you to Freda Lammin, who is an amazing fundraiser from Grimoldby who has her own charity shop and donates all the proceeds to local charities. This month she donated £500 each to LLBS and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Spout Yard Gallery in Louth is hosting an exhibition of artworks by local artist, Joan Westerby, in aid of Lincoln and Lindsey Blind Society. Join us for the launch event on Sat 7 March at 1-3pm at Spout Yard, LN11 0NW

We would like to thank the Foyle Foundation and Lincolnshire Community Foundation for awarding LLBS a Foyle Foundation Grant of £5000 towards running our Benefits Project which provides help and advice that drives income maximisation for visually impaired people.

Become a Trustee with Lincoln & Lindsey Blind Society - For 100+ years we’ve supported people with vision impairment across Greater Lincolnshire. We’re seeking trustees with skills in finance, marketing, healthcare, or lived experience. ~4 hrs/month. Training provided.
