@Its_Jadite @Elyrium42 @wormy_gums Could’ve not announced the YT date right away and hint at a theatrical release without its own date. Obviously not everyone knows how this works and likely expected it to be in theaters same day like myself, still doesn’t eliminate the frustration

@LLBowlingShoes @Elyrium42 @wormy_gums Tbf it was almost a month. I really think that they are doing the best they can here and I cannot fault them for wanting to make a jump in the indie scene.
It sucks for those that can’t get a theater screening but there are ways to avoid spoilers and still enjoy the movie.

Boycotting Glitch wont do anything but hurt the indie sphere. If TADC fails a theater run, then what would that do to the other indie shows that wants to have a theater release? Stop being so entitled and just suck it up. You can avoid spoilers, you can wait a week.

@Its_Jadite @Elyrium42 @wormy_gums I personally consider this situation to be exempt from this. There’s a bit more they could’ve done to help prevent these expectations, especially after reading that note their ceo wrote. I’d be more understanding if it wasn’t 2 weeks

@LLBowlingShoes @Elyrium42 @wormy_gums Surely you’ve trained in the arts of avoiding spoilers long enough to know how to avoid them by now. It’s part of the show/movie watching experience, we all go through periods where we must avoid spoilers for things we love it’s not that bad.

I work with a dude who can’t keep his mouth shut, and I’ll be at pokemon go fest that same weekend and can bet I’ll be with friends who’ll talk about it. Even w/o I don’t think someone should be punished for going online

@king_mcghe11597 @wormy_gums Money isn’t even my issue with the theatrical release, I just wanted to call out this dumbass take. I remember hearing about ep9 being in theaters after ep8 dropped. I expected it to be in theaters same day as on YT, but it got moved up to a weekend I’ll be busy 24/7

@LLBowlingShoes @wormy_gums Maybe but at the same time if people call the money hungry they need to realize that they’re merch cost more than movie tickets to me. They need to push up the release of the YouTube to maybe the day it leaves theaters

@saturniines I remember a week before Endgame things were leaking and I muted all big words, just for someone to tweet, “you can’t mute the words in pictures” with an image attached that said who died. People who just enjoy ruining things exist
