This week at afterschool club and breakfast club the children enjoyed getting creative with some colouring around St Patrick’s day. The sunny weather meant lots of time outside. To finish our week the children were scientists and made a lava lamp. @AmyMarshTPLT @BerrowPrimary

This week at breakfast club and afterschool club the children have enjoyed making some weaving baskets, scratch art and playing guess who. They have also enjoyed lots of time in the playground and garden developing their physical skills. @BerrowPrimary @AmyMarshTPLT

What a great week back at afterschool club and breakfast club, the children have enjoyed creating some Chinese new year wreaths and even paid a visit to the new ducklings in reception. @AmyMarshTPLT @BerrowPrimary

During afterschool club and breakfast club this week the children have enjoyed some scratch art, modelling clay and had a lot of fun with a jenga tournament.

On Sunday staff from Little Learners volunteered at a community Sunday lunch at the community hall in Burnham. The community lunch is a free hot meal available to residents of Burnham to support anyone during these winter months. We met some lovely local residents. @BerrowPrimary

The children at Breakfast club and Afterschool club have had lots of fun taking part in many activities and board games. Guess Who has been a favourite this week. The children had a go at making Origami and made some delicious fruit skewers. @BerrowPrimary @AmyMarshTPLT

A lovely welcome back to breakfast club and afterschool club with some construction challenges and creativity. We have been developing our physical skills on the playground, playing football and climbing too. @BerrowPrimary @AmyMarshTPLT

With Christmas approaching the children in breakfast club and afterschool club have been feeling festive with their Christmas activities. The children have made tea light holders, Christmas scene paintings and enjoyed using the festive stamps. @BerrowPrimary @AmyMarshTPLT

This week we having been learning about traditions from around the world. We have been making candles to put in the window like Ireland do and decorating stars to hang like they do in India at Christmas. We have also started our countdown to Christmas.

Creativity and critical thinking has been a focus this week at Breakfast club and After school club with the children taking part in many activities. The children have been artists, chess players and construction builders.

This week at breakfast club and after school club the children have been taking part in construction challenges, arts and crafts, board games and obstacle courses. Throughout the week the children have developed their team work, creativity and imagination.

Some of the lovely activities we have done already this term for our learning enquiry question, “what do I celebrate”.

We have been exploring toys from the past and present and a parent brought in their rocking horse from home. We set up the tuff tray showing the children where different animals live and explored different painting techniques including painting on foil and clingfilm. .

A great week making hedgehog's using playdough and using a fork to give the hedgehog his spikes. we have been doing experiments using dry wipe markers and water, and been continuing our carpet time learning how to keep calm and relaxed. Even had time to plant some flowers.

We have learnt about different rooms in our house, talking about healthy eating, germs and washing our hands .We have also learnt about shapes. We made silly faces and drew around different shapes. The children have also shared what they are thankful for.
