LHNW varsity baseball beat Charyl Stockwell Academy again on Thursday 13-2 in 5 innings. @NickOberdier started on the mound and pitched 4 innings and recorded 10 strikeouts.  Landon Primeau pitched the 5th inning and didn’t give up a run. @LLindhurst2027 hit a big HR to left field in the bottom of the 3rd.  @rudy_hauss23 led off and was on base 4 times with 2 steals, @JacobKouba32668 went 2-4 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs, @BrennanGoebel29 went 3-4 with a double, 2 RBIs and 2 runs, and @JosiahKoub81564 went 3-3 with a RBI. We’re back at it Friday for a single league game at Whitmore Lake 4:30p.  The Crusaders are also hosting Roseville HS at home on Saturday for a DH starting at 11am. @MHSBCA1 @MIPrepZone @PrepBaseballMI

LHNW varsity baseball won 12-2 against Charyl Stockwell Academy in 6 innings to improve their record to 11-1. @JacobKouba32668 pitched all 6 innings giving up 2 runs and striking out a career high 13 batters. The offense was led by Jake Kouba, @BrennanGoebel29 , @NickOberdier , and @LLindhurst2027 who all had 3 hits each. Brennan Goebel had a double, a triple, 1 RBI, 2 stolen bases and 3 runs.  Nick Oberdier had a double, 3 RBIs, and a run.  Landon Lindhurst had a double, 1 RBI, and 2 runs. Josiah Kouba also had a single and 3 RBIs, and Landon Primeau had a hit and a RBI. We’ll be back at it Thursday for a home game versus Charyl Stockwell at 430p. @MHSBCA1 @PrepBaseballMI @MIPrepZone

Good Conference win against Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy 12-2. Went 2-3 on the day with a double and single scoring twice with 1 RBI.

LHNW beat Oakland Christian 10-0 in 5 innings yesterday to improve their record to 10-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play. @griffindel_ pitched a gem going 5 innings striking out 11, and only giving up 1 hit. @lukecharlton_4 and @JacobKouba32668 led the offense and both went big fly.  Luke went 2-2 with a double and a HR, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs.  Jacob went 2-4 with a double and a HR, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs. @LLindhurst2027 , @JosiahKoub81564 , and Jack Hilligoss had 2 hits each.  Josiah and Jack also had 4 RBIs combined. @BrennanGoebel29 was 1-1 with 2 walks and four stolen bases, 2, runs scored and a RBI.   Next up is a single game at Clawson City Park 11am on Saturday.

First week of Varsity batting. It has been a great start to the new season. Stats include as of 4/19- .381 avg , .480 OBP, and 1 Home Run.

LHNW varsity baseball played well in their first league contest on Tuesday beating Whitmore lake at home 17-2 in 5 innings.  @EthanWilks2026 started on the mound and went 3 innings with 7 Ks.  Landon Primeau came in relief and pitched 1 inning with 2 Ks. Three Crusaders went big fly with HRs by @rudy_hauss23 , @LLindhurst2027 , and Ethan Wilks. Rudy went 2-2 with 4 RBIs and 2 runs, Landon went 2-2 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs, Ethan went 2-2 with 2 RBIs and a run.  @JacobKouba32668 went 2-4 with a triple and RBI, @JosiahKoub81564 went 3-4 with 3 RBIs and a run, @lukecharlton_4 and @BrennanGoebel29 also had a double and 2 runs each. Next up is an away game DH matchup on Thursday at Whitmore Lake.

Big thanks to everyone who came out to support Crusader baseball at the 2026 LHSA Baseball Classic at UWM field. What a great day of baseball! Game 1: LHNW beat Lutheran Westland 9-1. @NickOberdier started the game and went 4 innings with 7K’s and only giving up 1 run. Nick also had a big day at the plate going 2-2 with 4 RBIs and a monster HR over the LF fence in the top of the 4th. @jacobjouba32668 was 1-2 with 2 runs, an RBI, and a walk. Landon Lindhurst was 1-2 with a double, a run, an RBI, and a walk. Josiah Kouba was 1-2 with an RBI, and Griffin Delaney 1-1 with a run. Game 2: LHNW lost a close one to Lutheran North 2-1. Pitching led the way for both teams. Jake Kouba started game 2 and went 6 complete innings, striking out 7, and giving up 0 earned runs on 3 hits. @lukecharlton_4 led the offense going 1-2 with a run, a walk, and 3 stolen bases. @LLindhurst2027 , Josiah Kouba, and Jack Hilligoss also collected a hit. Thanks to all who helped coordinate and run the event. The boys had a blast!
