This is the moment that Anne became the first person in Coventry to receive a #CovidVaccine from their GP surgery. Dr Smithers gave Anne her vaccine and she described it as painless and similar to any other injection. Anne will be back for her booster in 21 days.

At @TheBMA #ARM2020 (annual meeting of doctors) our chair @CNagpaul says it’s one thing going for a ‘moonshot’ but ‘back on planet earth’ patients and NHS staff can’t get a #Covid_19 test when they need one. The system is shambolic and failing. @DHSCgovuk need to sort it ASAP

Today a maximum of 6 people from 2 households are allowed to meet indoors. Tomorrow after the "rule of six", 6 people from 6 different households can meet indoors. How will this contain rising infection rates given mixing of different households indoors is high risk of spread?
