@RCpiper119 The thing I came to understand yrs ago was that grief is just love with nowhere to go when we lose someone. Itโs important to take time to acknowledge the final act of love we had for someone when we mourn their loss.

Iโm taking the next couple of weeks to grieve the loss of my friend, go to Pilates, gym & just generally focus on taking care of myself physically & mentally. Setting aside time & allowing myself space to grieve, I believe, is the healthy & sound thing to do for anyone. โค๏ธ

@msemilyrushton You always think you have more time. He was just diagnosed in Feb but had been having issues since last Oct & it caused something else to happen unexpectedly. He was a real gem & loved & respected by many local friends/musicians in NYC as well as his fans around the world. ๐

I had dinner w/an old friend in The Hammer then drove back into NY after finding out my friend, Ross โThe Bossโ Friedman passed away today from ALS. Iโm really sad to hear this. Some of you will know him from Manowar or The Dictators, legendary guitarist. RIP ๐
