Today, I attended a football final match (night) organised by the Zenhang Lamka Youth Club as Chief Guest. It was an entertaining evening with beautiful performances by artistes followed by a thrilling football match.

Today , I attended the Ccpur Dist. Sports Asscn. Golden Jubilee Open Football Tournament 2025 at H. Lamka Public Ground alongside Mr Alfred KS Arthur, MP. The tourney featured an exciting final match between UKB & Dyn. FA, with UKB emerging victorious through a penalty shoot out.

Today, I had the honor of serving as the chief guest at the Badminton Tournament organised by the YMA Lamka Branch. The event featured an exciting Mizo cultural dance , several matches, and the distribution of prizes. I urged the audience to help popularise and promote the sport.

I am thrilled to be the Chief Guest at today’s Tedim-Chin Khuado Pawi Festival 2025. This cultural celebration is joyfully marked by the Tedim-Chin community, who come together in a spirit of unity & brotherhood through song & dance. Khuado Pawi Chibai, Unaute!

Today, I explored the booths set up by various Lamka based startups at the Tribal Literature Conclave 2025 at EBCC Gospel Centenary Hall. It was an excellent opportunity to promote tribal dialects & literature, especially that of the Zo descendants.

It was a thrilling experience to be with the students of Churachandpur College as the chief guest at their 61st Freshers’ Meet on September 16. I wish them a successful career and fruitful studies during their time at the college.

After inaugurating Bairabi- Sairang new rail line & flagging of 3 train services - Aizawl-Delhi Rajdhani Express, Aizawl-Kolkata Express & Aizawl-Guwahati Express on 13.09.25 at Aizawl, Hon’ble PM, Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed a huge Public Gathering at Churachandpur… ****

Construction work of rigid pavement along Thangzam Rd.,Lamka has begun. Had a discussion with engineers in this connection after visiting worksite. This road passes through business hub of the town. The VA is actively supporting traffic,etc. management.I appeal for local support.

At New Zouveng today, to inspect the ongoing road construction under central funding within my AC, Ccpur. Five important roads being taken up in the near future. Good roads are pivotal for development of our township.

A delegation of Blind Association (Hill Districts of K-Z-H) met me today and highlighted their plight and various difficulties faced by them. They requested for a Home/Shelter and other assistance from the govt. Assured them to take up their cause with concerned authorities.
