@Fortnite @FortniteStatus I think you should worry more about bettering the performance of your game. Servers are very laggy, especially for us South African players. We used to get 130 ping on ME servers and now get 250 ping. We are forced to play on EU servers with sweats!

@NickEh30 Just add a cooldown between the use of shockwaves

The changes I'd make: • Enable fall damage with shockwaves (so you can't just instant bail out of a build fight) • Make shockwaves unable to go through builds/structures (so you have to expose yourself to use them) • Lower the amount of shockwaves that drop in Chapter 7

Shockwaves make good plays feel unrewarded. And mistakes that would normally decide a fight don't matter anymore. • You get high ground? Enemy shockwaves up. • You full box someone? Enemy shockwaves out. • You rotate early? Enemy comes shockwaving in. When OG Fortnite came back, the lack of shield felt rough at first because we were used to having tons of it. But once the friction wore off, OG was way more fun and rewarded strategy instead of reckless w-keying. Mobility is the same: we have too much of it (shockwaves).
