I was silent today. Different thoughts visited my head. I was so disappointed by the extremely low reaction to my last public letter, where I talked about the war and culture.
Don't you need these letters? Maybe.
But I am going to continue writing them.
Why?
Oh my, it is a long war. Your fatigue may disappoint and hurt me during it (and not once).
But someone in the future may read these letters. Someone in the present may discover the truth. So, it is worth going forward.
I'm okay. Really. I just worry about Ukraine.

Morning from Ukraine!
The night was mostly calm here. We had an air raid alert at 4 am.
But the news I saw today made me sick. I am seriously considering whether I should stay on this platform. The tweet of Elon Musk about our President was disgusting.
So today, I won't post anymore here. Look for me on Instagram, BlueSky and my blog (all the info you can find in my bio).
See you tomorrow (maybe).

A very cool thing about attending #Sumo in person is that you can meet a lot of your retired favorites, many work in the stadium. It was a delight to meet former Sokokurai, Kotoshogiku, and Tochiozan, all 3 past faves for me! 🤩👍

On Netflix- "Little Miss Sumo"--
A well-done short documentary that will leave you wanting more. It's the story of a 20-yr-old Japanese woman and her love of this "for men only" sport. The film culminates with her at the world championship in Taiwan.
