Congratulations to Kimmins lab PhD graduate Dr. Anne-Sophie Pépin! Her thesis research on paternal epigenetic transmission of metabolic disease uncovered a role for sperm histone H3K4me and paternal effects of the placenta as novel routes to developmental origins of disease.

Happy to share our study in @FASEBorg ! Using a mouse model of pre-implantation alcohol exposure, we show that a maternal enriched diet for methyl-donor mitigates the negative impacts of alcohol exposure. #FASD bit.ly/3LcatGS
