Joe's people should be blamed for that because they let the information slip that the goal was to put a Black woman on the USSC. Yes it seems like DEI because it wasn't about qualifications, but felt like a discriminatory process when any non-black and non-female was instantly disqualified. Also, just imagine if it was put into the press that his goal was to appoint a white male to the court. There would have been an uproar. I don't know whether she is qualified or not, and don't think much of her since she married a white man (probably because she's ugly and no Black man would have her). What I do know is that the very process that got her nominated is also what sabotaged any hope of her ever being taken seriously or her appointment being viewed as legitimate. As for Mullin, he's only there to do Trump's bidding. He's a "yes" man. He doesn't need any special qualifications to say "Yes sir" to every directive.
