@TeakSawdust @adipullenLNER @RailwayCorresp1 Photo from the Harris book. As built in LNER scumbled teak livery to match standard teak bodied carriages. The lining applied in the same position as if it had mouldings, but of course as all steel construction, the sides were flush.

Photos of the progress by volunteers on ECJS Dining Car 189 at Pickering. Internal varnishing now taking place in small saloon and glass and mirrors being fitted in correct locations. 189 built at GNR Doncaster works in 1894. #victoriandiningcar #doncasterworks
