A couple weeks late, but we had a semifinalist in Informative Speaking (Top 14), a semifinalist in Program Oral Interp, a semifinalist in Poetry, a double-octafinalist in Poetry, earning LNHS a Speech School of Excellence award (Top 22 out of 2000+).

Starting a new school year in our newly remodelled classroom by showing off a newly installed feature: our legacy wall of NSDA Academic All Americans!

Nationals at a glance: We had a finalist in Impromptu (Top 6), a semifinalist in Informative (Top 14), 2 quarterfinalists (Top 30), 2 octafinalists (Top 60), and 2 double-octafinalists (Top 124), earning LNHS a Speech School of Excellence award (Top 20 out of 2000+).

And Lakeville North received a Speech School of Excellence award for placing in the top 20 of more than 2000 schools in attendance!

We're excited to share that at the 2023 NSDA National Speech & Debate Tournament, Gintare Piscikaite (Sr) finished as a semifinalist (top 14) in Informative Speaking and Aaimah Khawaja (Jr) will compete in the final round of Impromptu Speaking (top 6) tomorrow at 11am MST!

After two long days of competition at the NSDA's online Last Chance Qualifier tournament, we're excited to share Devon DeFoe (sr) & Louise Nguyen (jr) are Phoenix-bound in International Extemp to the 2023 National Speech & Debate Tournament!

Congratulations to LNHS seniors Katelyn Caulder, Aiden Clayburn, Benjamin Gonyea, Madison Leverty, and Gintare Piscikaite for being named to the 2023 MSCA All-State Speech Team!

These nine Panthers have qualified to the 2023 National Speech & Debate Tournament this June in Phoenix!
