🇮🇷 Day 3 of the U.S. naval blockade: An Iranian-flagged cargo vessel tried to sneak out of Bandar Abbas, slipped through the Strait of Hormuz, and hugged the Iranian coastline in an attempt to evade the blockade. The USS Spruance (DDG-111) intercepted it and successfully turned the ship around. That makes ten vessels turned back so far and zero ships have broken through since the blockade began on Monday. 🇺🇸🇮🇷 An Iraq-bound supertanker that aborted a weekend attempt to cross the Strait of Hormuz into the Persian Gulf is now sailing through it. If successful, it would be the first crude carrier to head west through the Strait since Trump's blockade took effect.
