F1が全ての4輪モータースポーツの頂点という位置付けが、あと少しで限界だろうと思っている。 F1は有人では頂点だが、無人では頂点にはなれない。 という事は、無人レーシングカーの方が有人レーシングカーを超えた時にF1は限界を迎える。

F1はもっとクラシカルなカテゴリーで、ドライバーの技術と勝敗が決まるカテゴリーがいいのかねえ。 FEとも別で、更に新カテゴリーを作る方がいいのかな。 マシンはフォーミュラカーで、ハイブリッドで最高速は400km/h以上。 1チーム毎に2台所属し、片方は有人。 もう片方は無人。 どうだろう?

We had a special visitor in the building this week. Not a person, but an engine. An engine that stops you mid‑stride. A 7.0 litre naturally aspirated V12, delivering 820 bhp and designed to live at the extreme edge of performance. For the 24 Aston Martin Vulcans that were created, we built every single engine, plus two spares. Each one was assembled with total focus on precision, durability, and theatre. Seeing one installed in the car is always special. Seeing one return to our Powertrain Development Centre never loses its impact. This particular engine came back to us out of the car, lent to us by its current owner, for display as part of a VIP customer event. Our team service, rebuild, and support everything from historic icons to modern race engines, but it was still a pleasure to welcome such a brute back into the building.
