LPO Opening Endorsements for Nonpartisan Races, Primary Deadline Approaching Fast! Fellow Libertarians of Oregon! We're now opening endorsements for nonpartisan races (county commissioners, assessors, sheriffs, school boards, city councils, special districts, and more) ahead of the May 19, 2026 Primary! These primaries are often make or break and many seats are won outright with a majority in May, or top two advance to November. Early LPO backing means big visibility, resources, and momentum for liberty-minded candidates. Deadlines are closing in quick: Candidate filings ongoing (check your county clerk). March 12, 2026 @ 5:00 PM — Final day for candidates to submit statements/photos for county Voters' Pamphlets. Endorsed candidates can highlight LPO support right in their statement, with proper authorization through signed endorsement forms. If you're running, know someone solid, or have a Libertarian-leaning candidate in mind for a nonpartisan office, hit me up ASAP! We'll review for alignment with our core principles (limited gov, individual liberty, fiscal sanity), guide on pamphlet inclusion, and help spread the word. The clock is ticking, let's go! A service member in a combat role with the 31st MEU has been taken off deployment after working with us to submit a CO application within hours of leaving for the Middle East. We are working with several others to accomplish the same.
