Investing in public safety leads to measurable outcomes. The Board has adopted a Critical Points Policy to strengthen oversight during high-risk events. This is a step forward in modern police governance, guided by the Honourable John W. The Board advanced key work at its meeting yesterday. We adopted a new Critical Points Policy, welcomed Mike Wallace during his swearing-in, celebrated the donation of a Pipe Major’s Dirk, and received valuable insight through an HR presentation on section work and recruitment. The second annual #LPS Chief’s Gala is officially scheduled for February 12, 2026. This event highlights the strength of our partnerships and the meaningful impact we can make in our community through collaboration and compassion.
