@DanielRMartin1 @honeymoon250 Chances are, with an abuser you will never 'come to a resolution'. They won't stop. They will just get worse, if anything. And then the dog suffers worse - or dies. Reporting the abuser is how you stop it.

@honeymoon250 I would never go to authorities without talking to the person who is offending me first. If we can't come to a resolution, I would then go to the authorities.
