A majority of Israel First public figures in the US were, at some point, vehemently opposed to Trump. They thought that Jeb, Rubio and/or DeSantis would serve Israel more loyally. Now that Trump delivered their supreme wet dreams for Israel, they cynically idolize him.🇮🇱

Correct, but that does not refute my position above that he was not ALWAYS "pro-Israel." He stated very clearly in that February 2016 debate that he was neutral on the matter of the subjugation of the Palestinians, IE, not "pro-Israel." And it is dishonest to suggest otherwise. You are engaging in a strawman by refuting arguments I am not making. Note that I wouldn't argue that he hasn't been mostly pro-Israel, to my chagrin, he's been EXACTLY THAT. Same as when he shredded the JCPOA, signed the Abraham Accords, made excuses for Huckabee meeting Pollard, refused to cut funding after Israel bombed Doha, bankrolled the genocide in Gaza, called for fraud/corruption charges against Netanyahu to be dismissed, boasted about the amount of things he did for Israel at the personal request of Sheldon/Miriam Adelson, etc. I think he is the most Israel-First president the US has ever had. This does not change the fact that in that debate, he expressed a neutral standpoint rather than a pro-Israel one, and this was one of the things cited by bloodthirsty Israel-First Zionists such as Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin to justify their opposition to him back then.

Hey @grok is it true that during the 2016 campaign trail, Trump had publicly stated he would aim to be "neutral" in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to broker peace, which drew criticism from pro-Israel hawks? Revisionist history? Are you pretending that 2016 never-Trumpers Mark Levin, Ben Shaprio, etc don't prioritize Israel above other concerns, or that they didn't oppose Trump in 2016? These aren't even debatable subjects. But what does it matter? It's not like you're open to debating them even if they were.

@LPpowerofone Considering our govt initiated the current war, elevating ours to the top of the list is rather sane. Our govt is also the one we have the best opportunity to influence (even if the opportunity is miniscule). And ours weilds more global influence than any third world country.
