As a group committed to promoting and amplifying this culture, in the belief this will create the best environment and atmosphere to enjoy football, we’re extremely disappointed and dismayed by the publicised pursuit of Roberto De Zerbi. De Zerbi has publicly backed and supported an alleged sexual abuser and has a reputation for, with video evidence to support it, bullying behaviour - especially towards younger players. Even if he came with the track record and proven ability to rectify the dire situation the club is currently in (which he does not), De Zerbi is not the kind of person we want associated with our club or representing us. We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed for Head Coach Igor Tudor to leave the Club with immediate effect. Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles of Goalkeeping Coach and Physical Coach. We thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their efforts during the past six weeks, in which they worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time. An update on a new Head Coach will be provided in due course.
