🎨 The best way to see Van Gogh's "Starry Night" is to stare at the center of the spiral for 20 seconds and then look at the painting. RT when it works for you.

@LROLE Darn it! I am sorry you got the rebound. I didn't get the exhaustion part, so I am doing pretty well so far. I hope you are fully recovered now?

I’m really enjoying #Scialog2022 (even though I am attending from my room — thank you COVID.) There are so many creative, excited, young(er than me) scientists here who are poised to ask difficult questions in neuroscience

@MarinaP63 I'm ok - unless I talk or laugh - then I cough & wheeze like a old bidey. But who needs to talk or laugh?

@chrislhayes The man messed up the country so badly that even the Secret Service seemed to be demoralized. That’s why there got to be ACCOUNTABILITY. America has to make it known to the world that no man is ABOVE the LAW.

@YuLab19 yup! 6 AM returns from the lab smell of Parisian bakeries, my sabbatical. W Phillippe & JacSue (always together in my mind) was a peak, for sure- PA = special human- humble & brilliant. The man was a font of wisdom with a wicked sense of humor.

@Nicole_Lee_Sch My approach is to keep a sleeve of masks handy, so when they start with “oh , should I go get my mask….?” Instead of backing down , I can just say “no need, here you go - I am happy to provide” ( ok slightly passive aggressive but better than backing down completely!)

I'm engaging in a lot of encounters lately where people see me masked and ask "oh should I grab a mask?" And I know it comes from a good place, but it can be really exhausting. Why? Let's talk about access labor. 1/10
