Baylor HC Dave Aranda is in a win or your fired scenario. He will most likely need to win at least 8 games to keep his job. So let's say that Baylor does fire Aranda, who are the replacement candidates?
A few people I have talked to are thinking along the same lines I am. Bring former HC Art Briles back for a proper send-off. Let's say 3-5 years. He brings his son Kendal with him. Kendal is currently the OC at South Carolina.
Let the 2 of them be together for a few years. When Art hangs up his whistle, Kendal takes over as the new HC of Baylor.

This guy was intentionally recording kids underwater at Schlitterbahn waterpark in New Braunfels, TX. I had multiple witnesses, I got police and security involved, but he only faced a park ban (allegedly). Anyone who identifies who he is first I will legit Venmo you $1,000. Let’s at least bring it to light who he is to protect anyone who may be letting him close to their kids. In the end Jesus is coming back by the way and no one will truly get away with anything! The smiles, the excitement, the bright lights.
Briles brought Baylor together.
He didn’t bring Baylor back.
He made Baylor Football.
Art created the 21st century Baylor Football Program. He founded the Program and built it piece by piece. Until Baylor leadership was so weak a gust of media wind blew it all down due to weak leaders at Baylor.
If Baylor wants to lead and show their faith and ways to lead with redemption and admiring they were wrong for ruining Art, I pray they will.
Art Briles and Baylor have all the reason to come back together and finish what worked: bring Baylor together and to enjoying weekends in Waco.
Loving winning. Losing wasn’t horrible. It was and can be fun. And what a comeback by Baylor and Art it would be.
To rise above the vile media and show us all that having fear of the cruelty in society perception and false stories, false allegations cannot tear us down ever again, it would be glorious.
Art gave us all pure joy. He deserves the most sincere gift that won’t replace the pain but it sure will help allow him to finish strong. And Baylor owes him that.
Baylor and Art deserve pure joy, together.
