@EFLFighters This is horrifying! Introducing English, still a lingua franca, is listed as a benefit (#4)... I'd be interested in knowing whether the loss of indigenous languages is listed as a negative impact? Government policy recently changed to focus back on local languages at primary.

it really hurts that we don’t have extensively documented/preserved african queer histories because it makes us more reliant on other people’s experiences to contextualise ours and navigate our queerness. which means we’re often left out of many conversations and considerations.
