I may have missed something but why would you want anonymity? It would be a closed system with only logged investors being able to see where a founder is or will be. I’m going to be in NYC tomorrow from A-B time, at C location. If an investor wants to grab a Calendly time they get the specific location and we are good. Again maybe I’m missing something. But think about it as if you were trying to set up a meeting between two people. You ask where they’re both going to be and they meet.

They are anonymized but you can request the deck from the founder. This is so founders share details only with investors they have deliberately approved

I just put the markers on the capital city of their country of incorporation. Later we could ask them for their state/city or get it from their LinkedIn page (...)

Figure-toi que : pas d'après moi (full disclosure : ils ont investi dans ma boîte). Le early stage VC game est un volume/power law game : il faut investir dans beaucoup de boîtes, la plupart vaudront 0 et quelques-unes ramèneront un multiple du fond. Or, quoi qu'on pense de Blast et d'Anthony Bourbon, ils se sont positionnés là où il y avait un énorme besoin : en France, 99% des VC sont très frileux, les investissements sont hyper élitistes et les temps de due dil sont délirants. Blast est arrivé comme une comète et a renversé les codes : deals super nombreux (je crois qu'ils font >50% du volume du VC de la place FR), process founder friendly... et je pense que ça va fonctionner. Un peu comme Jim Carrey qui fait des prêts à tout le monde dans Yes Man.

Cette merde est probablement le plus gros scam de la décennie

I'm talking about a concrete situation of someone who's using serverless for everything, instead of Dockerizing and deploying it on a dedicated server. You're literally overanalysing a 6-word tweet. Should I next time include a disclaimer: "Then you're overpaying a ton for your infra ☠️" Unless you have a dedicated DevOps team that actively maintains your infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, or you're hosting on a legacy system that would be more expensive to migrate than to maintain, or you're working in Big Tech where a proprietary system is used instead of Docker - in those cases, you're doing everything right!

I made $2M with my websites and still don't know what docker is
