The downtown Chicago, Illinois office vacancy rate rose to an all-time high of 28.6%, having now hit new record highs for 15 consecutive quarters.
Almost half of the 40M SF of vacant office space downtown has been available for at least three years.
Up from 13.8% when the COVID-19 pandemic began.
