Our newest project to move into construction, the Manning Substation, marks another important milestone for LS Power Grid California. Manning is one of five transmission projects we currently have in development statewide, complementing the Orchard Substation, which is already in service near the Manning site in Fresno County. With an expanding portfolio of projects in development and operation, we continue to deliver critical infrastructure that enhances reliability and supports California’s long-term energy needs.

This week, our LS Power Grid California affiliate broke ground on the Manning Substation in Fresno County. At @lspowergrid, we know that fast-tracking transmission projects is essential — and that maintaining competition in transmission development drives strong schedule accountability. We’re proud to advance Manning ahead of schedule and deliver critical infrastructure that strengthens grid reliability and supports the San Joaquin region’s future.

🚧 Construction has begun on the Manning Substation in Fresno County! Sponsored by @CaliforniaISO, Manning will invest more than $200 million in energy infrastructure for the state of California and create roughly 100 jobs during construction. Once energized, Manning will enhance grid reliability and increase access to lower-cost and diverse generation resources for the San Joaquin region – as well as help fund local essential services from taxes paid by our company. bit.ly/4sewdUN

Despite the winter storms, our Head of IR/BD Emily Simonis made it out of NY to join industry leaders at PEI Group's Nexus 2026 conference last week to discuss investing in the energy expansion. These industry gatherings provide invaluable insights into how investors are thinking about energy infrastructure—perspectives that help inform how we continue to build and deploy capital strategically. Our team was active last week, engaging with policymakers and industry leaders across the country. 📍 At this year's @NARUC Winter Policy Summit, state and federal regulators, utilities, and industry stakeholders gathered to tackle the grid challenges ahead. Key themes: large load interconnection, cost responsibility, and keeping power affordable as demand grows. 📍 At the @OhioChamber of Commerce 30th Annual Energy Symposium, we connected with Ohio's business and energy community. Key themes: infrastructure modernization, ensuring Ohio can attract the energy resources needed to meet growing demand, and aligning energy policy with economic development goals. The discussions reinforced the need for clear frameworks that protect consumers while enabling the infrastructure investment our country needs.
