“I don’t accept the fact that cancer is a monster that is undefeatable." That's the motto of Dr. Arrigo De Benedetti, who's pushing @LSUResearch forward at LSUHS. In recently published findings, he describes a promising new approach to treating advanced prostate cancer.

LSUHS was ranked 3rd highest for enrollments in November 2024 for GRNDaD, a multisite sickle cell patient registry developed to better understand sickle cell symptoms and improve outcomes for patients affected by this disease. Learn more: grndad.org #sicklecell
