ALERT: Drunk Alabama man bites a K9 officer back while deputies were trying to detain him. Florence Police Department in Alabama was executing a search warrant when David Culliver, 46, was seen in the road impeding traffic, and officers asked him to step out of the road multiple times. After refusing to comply, officers tried to detain Culliver and used a K9 officer to help. While being bitten by the dog, Culliver was seen biting the dog back. Cullivar has been charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, public intoxication, and interfering with a police dog.

ALERT: Car thief who tried to escape police by climbing under the Bay Bridge, who was arrested in 2024 for a similar crime, is set to be released from jail by a San Francisco judge. SFPD located a stolen car being driven by Paulo Evangelista, 38, and pursued the vehicle. Evangelista then led police to the Bay Bridge before getting out of the car and climbing under the bridge. CHP then deployed marine units and drones and spotted Evangelista dangling from one of the beams. Hostage crisis units assisted with getting him off the bridge and into custody. Evangelista was charged with auto theft, reckless evasion, resisting arrest, and impeding traffic, but a judge has set his release for Monday. Evangelista was also arrested in December 2024 for burglary, grand theft, taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, being in possession of a stolen vehicle, and being in possession of stolen property.

President Trump has issued several pardons to sketchy fraudsters from the donor class. It would be nice if he also extended one to the warrior class. Send a clear message that it won’t happen again. There’d be no real downside.
