Mon Apr 10 thru Fri Apr 14, Charles Rd will be closed to thru traffic from 7AM-5PM daily. Detour has been established using Fremont to Hershey & High St to Charles Rd. Traffic Control will be on scene at all times. Only 1 residential driveway is affected.
Lancaster Township’s annual bulk herbicidal and fertilization application will begin Monday, April 17, 2023 through Friday, April 28, 2023 for all the parks and township properties. Parks will be posted with specific dates and information.

Saturday, January 14, 2023: Lancaster Township curbside collection of REAL Christmas trees. No decorations; no tree bags. If you miss this one-day free collection, a $4 red tag is required. All artitificial trees require a $4 red tag.
Now through Saturday, January 14, Lancaster Township residents can drop off REAL Christmas trees at the woody waste facility in the designated (signed) area, dawn to dusk. This is for Christmas tree drop off only. Area is under video surveillance.

Woody Waste Facility - 2022/2023 Winter Days and Hours of Operation. Every Wednesday 10am to 3pm. Following Saturdays 8am to 1pm: Dec 17, 2022, Jan 14, 2023, Feb 18, 2023, Mar 18, 2023. In the event of winter weather, facility will close until deemed safe for use.
Nov 16, 2022 - Hamilton Park area, especially around Elwood & Atkins Ave., water main hit. City & township crews are on site. Residents can expect low water pressure, brown water, etc. until the repair can be completed. Traveling public should avoid that area.
There is the potential for heavy rain Fri & Sat. The Township is asking residents to refrain from raking leaves into the street prior to the storm & to help by taking a moment now to rake out any inlets near your home that may be covered with leaves or debris.
