With the onset of summer, reviewed a presentation by @official_dda following my directions to swiftly implement a concrete plan of action for the revival and restoration of Delhi’s priceless yet rapidly deteriorating aquatic assets. DDA is immediately commencing work on 77 water bodies - of these, 6 will be restored within the next 30 days, 48 within 60 days, and the remaining 23 within 90 days. Other key developmental initiatives, particularly those aimed at bringing transformative changes to the Dwarka, Rohini, and Narela sub-cities, were also discussed. Advised officials to ensure the immediate rollout of all plans and strict adherence to the committed timelines.

Returning to my alma mater, JNU, is always a deeply personal experience. It was a pleasure to be back at the School of International Studies today to discuss ‘Reimagining Delhi’ - the very place where many of my own perspectives on governance, identity and the future were shaped. While emerging technologies such as AI and genomic medicine offer immense promise, it is vital that innovation is guided by ethical governance and ensures equitable access for all. Emphasized that the strength of our healthcare system ultimately rests on the dedication of our medical fraternity. Their expertise, compassion, and unwavering commitment ensure that cutting-edge science is always complemented by affordable, patient-centric care.
